Laserontharing.nl originated as an informative site about laser hair removal treatments and laser equipment. The purpose of the site is to further familiarize the reader with the world of laser hair removal. In addition, transparent information is provided about which location has which laser and for which skin types it is suitable. This allows the reader to make a well-considered choice for a practice and associated equipment.
All affiliated practices at Laseronharing.nl work exclusively with skin therapists who have followed a four-year HBO education. In this training they learn to work safely with light and laser equipment. This guarantees the quality of the treatment.
The affiliated practices at Laserontharing.nl only work with real lasers. This means that no treatments with IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) are carried out to treat unwanted hair growth. Laserontharing opts for lasers, because research shows that they are the most powerful and therefore the most effective for the treatment of unwanted hair.
Skin therapists who are affiliated with the Paramedics Quality Register work in all affiliated practices. The skin therapists obtain enough accreditation points every five years to re-register as a skin therapist. In addition, the skin therapists are affiliated with the Dutch Association of Skin Therapists and keep up to date with the latest developments in the profession.
Skin therapy has been a recognized paramedical profession since 2003. The title of skin therapist is a protected title, recorded in Law Professions in Individual Health Care (BIG Act, Article 34). The skin therapist treats the diseased or damaged skin, usually on referral from a general practitioner or specialist. The aim of the treatment is to eliminate, reduce or prevent a disorder or limitation as a result of a skin condition.
The practices offer specialized skin therapeutic treatments based on the needs of patients. The practices cooperate with other healthcare institutions and social organizations. As a result, the patient is treated as optimally as possible.
