Are you bothered by blond, gray or red hair? These can be removed by electrical epilation at one of the affiliated practices. Electric epilation, like laser hair removal, ensures that unwanted hairs disappear permanently. Electric epilation can be applied to the face, body parts and skin grafts.
Electric hair removal is permanent hair removal by means of electricity. A needle is pushed along the hair into the skin to the hair follicle. The needle gives off heat, destroying the hair follicle. The hair follicles must be treated for a few seconds. After each treatment, the hairs become thinner and weaker, eventually disappearing.
After the treatment, the skin may be slightly red and swelling may occur. That will go away after a few hours. It is also important that the hair is depilated or waxed prior to the treatment. Only visible hairs can be treated with this method. Hair may be shaved or trimmed between treatments. Keep in mind that you do not do this 1 or 2 days before the treatment because the hairs are then too short to perform the treatment effectively. It is also important that 24 hours after the treatment, contact with the sauna and sun is avoided.
